Very much like the additions, however I’m old and stuck in my ways and like the Carbonite’s map. I do not like the little round Bliz map that I can not see much at all on. This is not saying that I will not try the new additions but just can’t get the idea out of my mind of leaving Carbonite.
Love all the thingd that you and your fellow helpers are doing and like the other guy said if it was not for your Guides I would not have 6 toones over level 80.
      Keep up the good work.

@Sunbendyr, I tend to think that Carbonite is a leveling addon. However, there are only a couple of reasons that I would use it. One is for the map (big reason) and the ability to find certain things at times (ie vendors that you might not visit often or a new city). The fact that you can lean on Carbonite when you can’t quite find something on Dugi’s (ie another mob suggestion when you have killed all the mobs and don’t want to wait) was great.

That said, I don’t use Carbonite any longer. The zooming map (carbonite’s), in and out, works so much better that blizz’s. I was hoping Blizz would incorporate a Carbonite like map but it has not happened. Finding zones and friends with the map was pretty cool. But Carbonite has way more built in than most users even come close to using. I don’t expect Dugi to ever build this in to their guide but I have to say I would love it.

One of the things that helps me speed up my questing is to /target mob-name to find that certain mob in an area. Then I sometimes set a raid marker on that mob to help me find it quicker. It could be based on part of a quest objective; such as slay 10 mobs of one type and 8 mobs of another. So I would have to re-write my macro for each name of the mobs that I have to find for every quest.

Will you ever add a targeting button to help us find mobs quicker for any given quest?

      • Dugi

@Chuck, that feature already exist with our addon 🙂 its the target button.

Pretty cool Dugi…I like this better than Zygor 🙂

Hi Dugi, All of your guides are simply fantastic! I wouldn’t be happy playing WoW without them!
I feel very much like the words that Carmana wrote – I sure hope to be able to keep up with all the changes! 🙂

And the hits keep coming. Way to go Dugi, a perfect example as to why your guides are second to none. Can’t wait to use these features.

hi dugi it looks as if your taking the best mods from wow and making one super mod which is awesome as it cuts down my mod usage

I always enjoy learning about new features being added to the best leveling guide out there. I am also a “fan” of carbonite. I have been since I discovered it before Blizz declared it off limits to charge for addons. I liked it so well then that I subscribed to it. Although I was happy with Blizzard’s announcement that developers could not charge for addons I was worried that might cause Carbonite to disappear. I am glad that is not the case. I like the new features you’ve added very much. In fact I don’t really see them as competition to Carbonite, but as a way to better integrate things. I don’t really care that much about the “leveling” portions of their addon. What I find indispensable is their map system. So of course I will use all of what you are now adding into the guide and still be able to use what I want from Carbonite. I’m a happy camper all around, heh.

Interesting features, is it possible to add a delay and do you want to feature to auto quest? I have this switched off because it dosn’t give me a chance to decide if I want that quest or not
      Thanks

    • Helen Mortensen

Once again, you deliver a fantastic feature. I have all your guides and that has made the game so much easier. Looking forward to this update. Thanks for a splendid work and great videos, they are always very pleasant to listen to.

You are like a GOD to me^^

    • Lynette

The videos look impressive. I like the functionality presented and the options for control. I’m going to turn off my Carbonite and give them a try.

I find the Carbonite Map much superior to the Blizzard one. At present there seems to be some problems
        running both.
I hope your new guides will work well with the Carbonite system.
I always look forward to your new updates as they add a bit more to the game.
        Keep em coming.
        Thank you

    • will davis

      this looks awsome

    • Dave

I love the new small frame integration! This will help me as I like a clean UI 🙂

    • Scott

Looking forward to this great addition to the guide. The auto target macro is a god-send, when it’s available I can find and target the objective npc. The new map feature due out soon is also a great feature. The heads-up display for the map and single quest targeting really makes this guide shine.

      Hey Dugi,

Looking great and if it becomes available, i will certainly use it.
Sometimes dugiguide and carbonite don’t match exactly with waypoints.
And its directing me in a complete wrong direction.

Thanks in advance for this update,

      Grtz, Aluray

      • Dugi

@aluray, if you click on the Objective tracker button it will use the waypoint provided by blizzard but if you click the green button it will use the waypoint provided by Dugi Guides so there are two options there.

    • Guivre

Hmm, I don’t know if I like this. There’s a reason I don’t use Carbonite. I like that Dugi’s organizes the quests for you, if it just gave me everything at once I don’t see the point of using the leveling guide.Carbonite just wasted my time.

      • Football

@Guivre, Every new feature can be turned on/off. Hopefully the new map feature should be able to buy you some time, instead of wasting it. I watched the video above and I love it 😀

      • Dugi

@Guivre, well dugi guides can control which quest should be displayed in your tracker, this will only happen if the guide thinks you can do multiple quest at the same time. But the current step in dugi guides should always be your priorty.

    • tonythetiger

      I love my Dugi guides!
