Whenever I update, all of my guides reset. I do know wish this to happen for I use it to keep track. Is there a way to install new guides or updates without resetting everything? I would appreciate any help, long time user and part of the loyalty program =] Thank you!

      • Dugi

We did force 1 reset since 6.0.2 patch but it shouldn’t reset anymore everytime you update.

Thank you for the quick and informative response, just what I would expect from a top of the line guide team! You are doing great! Keep up the wonderful work! I can not thank you enough!

    • trace1237

im having a big problem i cant take screenshots sorry so i habe the latest java and i downloaded the installer logged in my install path and the other path isnt workign right and when i hit play it says downloading then i hit play again and it doest the same thing im really confused

    • corkey

Well I have the installer set up I have my paths in everytime I hit play it just re downloads doesn’t actually let me play Any ideas?

      • Dugi

        @corkey,

This will happen if the path for your World of Warcraft Launcher is incorrect.
        Please follow these instruction.

        1. Load the installer and open the settings menu and delete everything inside World of Warcraft Path, and World of Warcraft Path Launcher Path

        2. Click ok and close the installer.

        3. Load the installer again and click on the settings button.

        4. If installer automatically detect your WoW path it should already be filled in, make sure you enter your username and password and click ok

If the installer didn’t fill in your path automatically then you will have to enter your path manually eg.

        1. Right click on your world of warcraft shortcut in your desktop and select properties, under target it should display the path to your world of warcraft folder.
        Windows: (your path)\World of Warcraft\
Windows: (your path)\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft Launcher.exe
        MAC: /Applications/World of Warcraft/
        MAC: /Applications/World of Warcraft/World of Warcraft Launcher.app

        2. After you change the path manually, close the installer and reload it. Click on the settings menu and check that the path has been changed.

        3. Please check that you have the correct slashes placement \ for PC or / for MAC it is crucial that your path is entered 100% correct.

        4. Make sure the path is also doesn’t start or end with quotes “” or blank space(s)

If you’re using 1.1.0 and your path is in the settings menu is correct the installer will work, I guarantee it. If you still have problems please contact ticket support and provide as much information as you can, a screenshot of your WoW path and the path that you have entered in the settings menu is a great help.

        3. replace the Launcher path to C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft Launcher.exe

    • corey

can we get an update for windows 8, computers are coming out with windows 8 software but I have not gotten to this to work on it.

      • Dugi

@corey, it works fine with Windows 8, try uninstalling your Java and reinstall.

        • megalomania

@Dugi, Thank’s alot when i saw comment i tried it and it worked thank’s alot! 🙂

    • Roedie

mmm at last i checked the settings and that was the problem.. path was not set right.
I have changed it and now it works perfect.
If you start playing wow by clicking the updater, you are always up to date I should say?
      Thats all you need.

    • shad0h

Works fine for me with 64 bit Java over firefox as well.

Any chance that you will release an installable version of the application that can reside in the system tray (windows) and identify when updates are available with a flashing (or different) icon ?

While this is significantly an easier method than going to the website, comparing and grabbing the updated guides, it is still a manually initiated task and I know I am often out of date still.

Thanks of course for the brilliant effort to date. Your guides and extras like this make this the only recommendable leveling product in the market.

    • Roedie

First it worked but i had to reinstall my system and now it dont work well anymore.
If i download java (windows 7 32 bit) i can run it and then it download the zipfile, but it wont install i have to do that manually.
If i install java 64 bit too then nothing works.. and if i uninstall 64 bit see above it start but dont install the files
      Strange but true..

      • Dugi

I can confirm there is a problem with 64 bit version of Java. Make sure you uninstall Java 64 and reinstall Java using a 32 bit browser like Firefox.

We will fix this as soon as possible

        • matty

It works fine for me, i have 64bit java installed.

    • Daniel Ryan

I tried downloading the installer but every time i try to open it does nothin have tried running as admin and still nothing

      • Dugi

Uninstall Java completely, and reinstall again from http://www.java.com and it should work.

        • Truejames7

@Dugi, how exactly do you uninstall and reinstall Java? I am getting this error when I run the program after downloading:

No JVM could be found on your system.
          Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME
to point to an installed 32-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE
          from http://www.Java.com.

          • Dugi

You can uninstall it from Windows control panel > uninstall.

            And visit java.com to reinstall.

    • Penny

well everytime i try to log in….it tells me invalid userid or password. but then i can go to your website…use the same user id and password and it works fine…
