excellent approach. That is how I will look at this. Thanks for reminding me. After all, this is just a game.

dont u guys get tired of playing the same game all the time…with the changes its like a whole new game…i enjoy the new aspects of the game…it keeps you thinking….change is good

Never saw him before but it was funny. Unfortunately its too late to get those easier epics guess i’ll I have to move toons. I think we will see a lot of that. Maybe some Blizzard stock?

I tend to agree with you Darkshorn. Once I get over my instant panic of change, obviously I do make changes very easily, I began to look at the new items and keep an open mind. I think the changes being made, will only add to the mystique of the game and get people working a little harder and more together to accomplish success. I currently am subscribed until Feb 2011 and I will be rehooked by then I am sure. I sometimes, actually generally jump up and yell and have a fit before I give something a chance. As I said in an earlier post, the programmers, writers, design people, and others have put much of their entire lives into successfully coming up with a one of a kind on-line-game and they are all excellent at what they do. Rather than me setting here crying over spilled milk, I should be thanking them for what they have managed to accompllish. Sure there will be a few bugs, but even Bill Gates makes mistakes. I think we should devote time to learning what is coming and working at mastering it.

I actually like most of the changes that have been made. I only felt a bit irritated when I found I couldn’t get my exotic pet out of the stable because I could no longer be a beastmaster (yet). I really only find a few things bothersome and nothing I can’t get used to. For me, part of the fun of a game is getting to know how it works. While the game can be used to stay in touch with friends and family, there are also many other social networks one can use to do the same thing. They just aren’t (usually) as much fun. Screwing up and making mistakes = a lot of fun and funniness for all involved if looked at with the right attitude. Anyone can choose to have the right attitude, although sometimes it takes effort to maintain that attitude. I am looking forward to the new expansion perhaps more than any of the previous ones. From what I’ve read this is / will be the biggest change ever to the game (how could it not be? It’s a cataclysm!).

We could all go back to games like Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, and various cards games where you actually can see the person you are playing with, laugh a little, share a snack and just have a good time with each others company. Gee that is a unique ided, actual face to face game playing. Sort of like listening to the radio in the evening.

I think it stinks that Blizzar is escalating the prices on things, what I mean is why is it that a new ridingprofession shall kost 5.000 gold. It is quite a job to earn so much´gold, at least for me.
So actualy they spoil the game, concidere to go back to PC games in stead.

You don’t have to endure anything. You can choose to read our comments or not read them. It is not quite the same with the game players. We have no real choice. When you spend the money over a 3 to 5 year period of time, you have invested quite a bit of money. Not to mention the cost of the game itself. Yes we have a choice not to play it and I would imaging many people will drop out. That is an individual decision they can make just llike the decision you made when you read our sniffles. No I am not 8 years old I am 64. I use this platform to keep in contact with my three sons, my grandchildren, a few highschool classmates and friend. It would seem to me that as intelligent at the programmers are, and I mean that sincerely, they could have figured some way to blend in the next expansion without changing the entire game, deleting all our Talent Points, etc. And this is done by a group of people that I am sure are trying to please as many people as they can (you can’t please everyone) and they are to be honestly congratulated on their work up to now, as well as the efforts put into the new expansion. But thank God this is a free country and we are allowed to state our comment, no matter if you think it is whining, we are being big babies, or whatever. But we do have that option and I am glad to hear your response. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on some points as adults should be able to do. Your whining about our whining is just as irratating, but so far I haven’t read any complaints about that. God Bless You My Friend and I hope you continue WOW along with the rest of us. Remember Free Speach is a Right so we both can say what we believe. Every story has two sides to it. Both sides should be heard. How else will the designers know what their customers like and don’t like. I just happen not to like the type of changes made and that they were made instantly with total disregard for any individual opinion. But I do agree with you, It is just a game, so let’s just move on and deal with it. There are no other real options. Do it or don’t. Whatever is up to you. But at least let people express their opinions withour your “enduring our whining”. Just don’t read it. Have a great day.

      LOL,

I think the new changes stink. It is like you have bought into an entirely different game. I am getting too old to keep relearning the same game over and over. If anyone has the patience to educate me on the new talent active/passive/point issues I would appreciate it. I think this just might be the straw that takes me back to PC games rather than on-line.

      and

I agree – Just when I have it figured out – they up and ruin my Hunter. I use to be on the top of the charts in every BG I enter, now at best I am in the middle. I may have to just quit playing as I have been addicted for over 5 years now so maybe this is time. : ) PEACE

That’s the stuff I have to endure every time Blizzard makes a change in this game. It’s bad enough having to endure all the 8 yr old sniffles about how bad they have it, because they can’t push a one button macro, that gives them instant 80, and full epics LOL. If you dislike challenges and change that much maybe you need to consider playing something else. No, on second thought, wait until someone gets it all figured out, then they’ll call you and hold your hand to get you back on top. People whine if the game stays the same. They whine if it changes. They whine because they have to pay for it. Gee, can you people ever be happy? It’s only a game for crying out loud, and all these changes will make total sense when the expansion releases. Remember what they did before Wrath of the Lich King? They broke everything, and then when it released all the classes were OP. Grow up and endure it until the release you big babies

Grats that is a fantastic head in the sand attitude. Hold your breath, wait till the next release and magically everything will be better.

Now, I got so much dodge on my tanking gear that, I can go anywhere… Arrrgh <—— I forgot to spec.

I have to respec 20 chars and open mail on each, reforge 4-5 full sets of gear, at least.
Also need to do all sorts of stuff with my hunters, like selling ammo leftovers.

Let's hope they don't reset talents on next hotfix patch

    • Mike

Interesting update for non-players. We need a detailed specific dialogue though. Could almost create a new one for each class since (at least for my pally) play is completely different now. Building up Holy Power for skills sucks! ><

      Mike~

    • Hatell

Fony always makes me laugh. Especially the stay command of the pet. XD

Yeah, we’re actually still raiding in my guild. Just so we can learn all these changes. I’m still getting the new cooldown on the DK rune system, but Disco Priest healing is boss imo. (And it really is a disco with Barrier.)

    • hippie-san

interesting how they didnt mention the hunter changes…….(which is no arrows needed anymore and mana changed to focus….and a petbank with 20 petslots….) but othervice a pretty slick summery 🙂

    • Mysterydoug

You can still do the dailies at Argent Tournament for those Heirlooms yeah?
