From my test it works fine and it should save it, unless you type /dugi fix which will reset everything. 

can you provide step by step how to replicate this issue and we should be able to fix it.

I need more information to help, what have you tried so far?  
Does it work with a new character? Did you test with only Dugi Guides enabled?

Hi you can turn off this feature by clicking on the DG icon and untick Auto Mount. go to settings > Auto Mount > untick “Enable Auto Mount”

do you see the waypoint arrow there instead? can you try loading dugi on its own and try /dugi reset

its likely a conflict with another addon. 
try typing /dugi reset, or try disabling all other addon to restore it.

Hi your retail guide have expired, you currently only have the Classic Guide. You will need to renew the retail guide purchase first then reinstall
