This guide is written for the community, to answer all the “how to” questions
and make it easier for you, when browsing the forum for answers.

Step 1: Getting Started

IMPORTANT! Make sure you update Dugi Guides regularly to the latest version for new features, improvements & hot fixes.
How to confirm which guides you have bought? Go to the link: membership area.

• Download link: Dugi Guides Installer & Updater
• Watch the video and follow the instructions provided

Trial includes: World of Warcraft Leveling Guides 1-20 & Seasonal Events Guides
Members includes: World of Warcraft Full guides 1-120. The Full Experience – Login is required

If you prefer to do this manually, then continue reading. Even if you use the automatic installer, there could be useful information. If not? Go play

Step 2: Preparation

Important!

Make sure you have closed WOW before proceeding!

GO TO:

Path:World of Warcraft_retail_InterfaceAddOns

Delete all previous Dugi Guides, Talented and TomTom, if they exist (or create a backup). Do not install on top of a previous/old guide. Conflicts may occur. Always do a clean install (Recommended for returning users).

Next. Download the Guide using the All-In-One Manual Install Download here link: members area

Unzip DugiGuidesPack.zip to your desktop!

Now inside the folder, you have got one addon folder:

• DugisGuideViewerZ

Step 3: Install The Guide

Correct!: Now, open the folder called DugiGuidesPack. Copy the folder called DugisGuideViewerZ to your addons folder.

Path:World of Warcraft_retail_InterfaceAddOns

Wrong!: Do not make the mistake copying the entire folder called DugiGuidesPack to the addons folder, because ‘Dugi Guides Viewer’ will not be showing up in addons screen in-game!!!

Step 4: Addons Check

Log in to the game and in the character selections screen, click addons button. Tick “Load out of date addons”. Tick Dugisguidesviewer.

If you experience problems, try to play with Dugi Guides Viewer only.

Step 5: Install Finished

You should now be able to log in and play with Dugi Guides Viewer without experiencing any errors. If you’re experiencing questing errors, then please report them here link: Bug Reports. Make sure you have installed the latest version first!

Step 6: Troubleshooting

Hit enter in-game to enable chat & these commands:

/dugi on – Enable Dugi addon.
/dugi off – Disable Dugi addon.
/dugi reset – Reset all frame position.
/dugi fix – Reset all Saved Variables – Followed by /reload.

Only seeing trial 1-20 guides after updating with Twitch (former Curse) client? Right click Dugi Guides in Twitch client and choose ignored. The Twitch client version only contains trial guides and it will override your existing guides if downloaded! You should always get the latest version from: https://www.dugiguides.com

or

Load Dugi Guides installer available in the download page: https://www.dugiguides.com/dgmembers/
Click on the Settings button
Enter your ultimatewowguide username and password
Click the Ok button and your paid guides should be listed in the ‘Account’ window on the left hand side of the installer.
Make sure WoW is closed and click the “Reinstall” button to reinstall Dugi Guides and your paid guides

Since the Classic guide now is available on the MEMBERS -> Products page

To install the Classic guide, you now need to be aware that the World of Warcraft folder now has two sub folders “_classic_” & “_retail“.

You’ll find the “interface” & “WTF” folders etc. inside those.

Poor eyesight? Trouble finding the NPC or Target?

1. ESC
2. Keybinds
3. Dugi Guides
4. Bind Target Button to a mouse button or a keyboard key
5. /reload ui (to prevent deletion of setting after a disconnect)

OR if you prefer a drag-able icon

1. ESC
2. Macros
3. General Macros (saved in in-game cloud and available on all characters)
4. New
5. Name it “dugi”
6. Pick Hunters Mark as icon (or whatever you like)
7. Copy/Paste: /click DugisGuideViewer_TargetFrame
8. Save
9. Drag it to the actionbar
10. Exit
11. ESC
12. Keybinds
13. Action bar or MultiActionBar (visible bars are Action Bar 1,5 & 6, MultiActionBar are 3,4)
14. Bind a key to the action Button 1-12 or Right Action Button 1-12 with a mouse button or a keyboard key (bottom or right, where ever you want it to be)
15. /reload ui (to prevent deletion of macro after a disconnect)

Why?, literally nothing has changed except the bug report link now goes to the discussions forum. This is still the exact way to install Dugi Guides manually in Windows.
