As far any new patch that comes with changes for raid tiers and PvP season, many new equipments will come to play which inevitably means a strong increase of everything related to item enhancement.
Pile up your threads, armor cores, belt buckles, leg armors, gems and enchanting ingredients… Do not forget minerals since jewelcrafters will rush for these to get stones and gems.
Demand will be higher during the first few weeks into 4.3 and you will then sell at much better prices than now.

Here is the only exception to the rule. It will now be possible to burst Maelstrom Crystals into several Heavenly Shards that are currently easily sold. But not for long. This change will make their price fall sharply.
Therefore, you need to sell off your Heavenly Shards right now. Meanwhile, you can pile up Maelstrom Crystals since their price will soon rise.

Here lies, undoubtedly, the most interesting change. Chaos Orbs will no longer be bound and should massively be available on the AH.
Moreover, they are frequently used as ingredients for new crafts in 4.3. Not to mention you can create Dreamcloth with them, which should help limit the impact of tailors CD.
Carefully stock your orbs and, for the time being, you can even find it interesting to farm them.

The time for epic gems has come. However, they will be available for raids only so that the demand for current gems will remain strong, therefore you can stock some to get ready for the first few weeks.
Likewise, do complete your Jewelcrafting dailies to pile up around forty Jewelcrafter’s Tokens so you can buy new plans as quickly as possible.

These plans require a lot of Elementium, many Chaos Orbs, a lot of Volatile Water and Volatile Fire.
So you will find it interesting to stock these ingredients since their prices should go up.
