Only have a lvl 9 Rogue so I probably weren’t able to trigger anything.

    Can’t you just change:

    /use [btn:1] 16; [btn:2] 16

    To

    /use <insert item>
    /use <insert item>
    Or for Trinkets
    /use 13
    /use 14
(assuming 13 & 14 is still the trinket slots in classic)

Instead? If they’re both off the GCD they should both pop instantly.

    Is:

    /click StaticPopup1Button1

For entering BG’s? Maybe the item button in the guide and using this macro, triggers Blizzards secure UI stuff. Just guessing here.

If you want to try to solve it yourself until Dugi answers, then maybe this will help.
I couldn’t replicate the issue btw. Tried it on several characters with Build 1.051 and with Mouseover macros, Target macros, Raid marker macros etc. Made some castsequence macros too.

At own risk! Don’t do it if you’re unsure about it, as I don’t want to be the cause of all your addon settings being wiped :)!
It resets the guide completely if done correctly.

    Log out and exit wow
1: Go to “:World of Warcraft_classic_WTF” (make copy of the WTF folder first and save it on the desktop or where you prefer)
    2: CTRL+F
3: Type “dugi” in the search field
4: Delete all the dugi *.lua & dugi *lua.bak files
5: Install a fresh copy of Dugi Guides. https://www.dugiguides.com/discussions/#/discussion/15/guide-manual-installation-guide-by-football
Start wow again and log in. The lua files will be created again once you log into your character.
The Guide will be in a completely fresh state, ready to be picked up where you left off. The personal preferences will have to be set again.

I used to have the instructions on the old forum but since “/dugi fix” does the same (to my knowledge), I decided not to repost it on the new forum.

Just a FYI. Out of date isn’t the same as not working. It’s just a system put in place to remind addon devs to check up on new changes etc. (and make users panic and remind the dev :D)
If nothing has changed, then they just update the *.toc file and move on.
Just tick “load out of date” and ignore it.
Only saying this to assure you that you’re not lost or in any way prevented from using the guide, if you were worried about that ;)

Edit: Nothing wrong in reminding Dugi. Just don’t be worried that you can’t use the guide.

Nice. Looks and feels better with the guides in level categories. Thumbs up.

Looks like a typo in the coordinates in step 1. Should probably have been 16 instead of 96. That’s a long walk :)
Step 2 seems fine (build 1.037). It points at the first dot to the left on the last picture.

@hoodlum please check that you are on build 1.027 or later as Dugi has fixed the problem.
    And let this thread die.

Just to rule out everything. Have you picked up the first quest?

I keep a simple txt file open when I play and then i copy/paste my report. I report like this:

    Topic: football classic leveling (example)

    [Alliance]

    Zone (01-02)

    Step 01 Questname
    – Correct waypoint 12.3, 45.6

    Step 02 Questname
    – I fell asleep on my keyboard

    Step 11 Questname
    – I ran out of Coca Cola

    etc.

And I just keep replying to the same ticket or thread (ticket in my case) :)

@snugglepuss56 not sure exactly what you mean but I’ve written an install guide. Can you be more specific? :)

    Try this:
    1. Back up your macros in a txt file (if you have any)
    2. Delete them from in-game followed by /reload ui
    3. Test if FPS is fine
    4. Add the macros back again in-game followed by /reload ui
    5. Test if FPS is still fine
This has worked for several users, including me, who has experienced the drops.

Dugi please make this fix one of the priority because im not playing with out macros and will have addons dugi disabled till its fixed. 20 fps just unplayable.

you can still play with macros, the fix is to remove all of them and test without macro then add them again. For whatever reason it worked for some people.

as soon as I added macros back frames dropped again.

Did you copy them one by one to a txt file or did you move the macros-cache.txt ?
I copied them one by one and deleted them from the in-game UI and when I copied them back, I checked them all for empty spaces, typos etc.
Frame drops are completely gone for me.

@wellnice except in the other thread you posted, the error you reported simply didn’t exist. That zone was completely error free. I know, I’m going through them all and I report everything. I wrote why you were experiencing it and Dugi is aware of it and ofcause it will be fixed. I also wrote how to prevent it from happening.
What you’re seeing with the Slitherblade’s, is a drop rate issue. Nothing else. Welcome to Vanilla. I killed over 50 raptors in Wetlands before my damn stone dropped. I love it! #nochanges!
The last turn in of “The Karnitol Shipwreck (4)” is at the end of the Stranglethorn Vale (36-37) STEP 118 in Ironforge because that’s where the NPC is and it’s on the way to the next zone which is Alterac Mountains (37-37). It’s not missing. It wouldn’t have made any sense if the step was in the Desolace guide.
    Are we good? :)
    Back to the game /roar

I experienced the same yesterday for the first time ever and only in Classic.
I copy/pasted my macros one by one to a txt file and deleted them in-game. Did a /reload ui and played for two hours. The FPS drops where gone. I then pasted the macros back and did another /reload ui and I’ve been playing ever since -sleep. So far so good. No sign of FPS drops.
Never disabled another addon except NeatPlates which seemed to trigger the drops faster in crowded places. Running with NeatPlates and a sh*t ton of addons active again.
No more FPS drops for me.
