ParticipantAfter installing update I am experiencing very bad lag. When I disable the guide addon everything is fine. DugiGuideViewer is using over 130mb resources.

Keymastermight be a combination with another addon, can you test with only dugi enabled. memory usage doesn’t always corelate to fps loss.

ParticipantI tried it without any other addons loaded, still get lag. I don’t know how much resources it uses without addons.

ParticipantThe lag seems to only be in some zones, so far STV and Badlands are the worst.

KeymasterI’m not able to replicate this issue at all, can you describe how to replicate it, which guide are you using, where is character located etc. Video would help a lot

ParticipantI also came to say I’ve been having really bad lag, primarily after killing mobs in Zangarmarsh and Terokkar Forest.
I disabled all addons except Dugi.
One thing to note, when it does lag out, in the very top left corner you can quickly see something that is quests related, looks like all of my quests.
Only addon is Dugi when this appears it flashes for a split second, usually when moving around / looting mobs while using the guide.
I don’t know if this happened prior to 2.098, I had upgraded from 2.093 to 2.098 and I am pretty sure I wasn’t getting this issue before.

ParticipantBut the ‘lag spikes’ coincide with that popping up in the top left corner for a quick second every time

ParticipantSo I went back and tried 2.093 again just to see, and yeah still happens on that version too. Cleared all saved variables as well. It’s very weird. I feel like in Hellfire because I used 2.093 in Hellfire, I never had this lag issue. Then suddenly in Zangarmarsh, and Terokkar I am.

ParticipantMade a quick video too, this time it seemed to coincide with looting a quest item. First clip is all my addons are enabled, second clip only dugi, same lag issue after looting quest item. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzKKvMBuZv4 you can even see for a split second in the second clip, the thing above in the image I shared with the quests appearing.

ParticipantAnd one more video, happens when accepting quests, so basically anything that might ‘checkpoint’ or ‘update’ steps in the guide I guess.

ParticipantThese videos show the very same issue I seem to be having, just jerky movements.
June 4, 2021 at 4:39 pm #169137mabusgaming
ParticipantSo I was able to resolve the jerky movement by doing this from a post on the forums from a month ago:
Dugi Settings > Maps > Show Objective Bulbs – disable this‘Magnifying glass’ button on minimap – disable all optionsReload UIHowever, I still get that weird bug in the videos / screenshot where the quest log flashes randomly in the top left whenever you do objectives

ParticipantAfter playing a couple hours today, seems the problem has been resolved everything working fine for me as of this moment. TBC ver. 2.5.1 Dugi ver. 2.100

KeymasterShow Objective Bulbs can slow FPS down depending on how many quest you’re tracking and the amount of data involved. disabling it will improve FPS
