Hi, everyone we have been quiet the last couple of weeks but that’s because we are very hard at work with putting finishing touches on the major update with Dugi’s Guide Viewer v4.1

As you may have noticed Dugi’s Guide  just gets better and better with every new update and we’re moving at the speed of light!… well not quite, but we are fast 🙂

Check out the screen shot below and you will notice a couple of major features that we have been working on for a while.

The 2 new major features are

  • Display of quest level with color coding.
  • And the ! ? will now change color to grey  if you’re not at a high enough level to accept the quest so that you will know before reaching the quest giver.

Combine these 2 features with our ‘Chain Quest Linking’ feature and you are now in complete control on how fast and how slow you want to progress. You can now gain experience points with other methods such as dungeons or PVP and you don’t have to worry about being out of sync with the guide.

If you’re using Heirloom items or playing with Recruit-A-Friend you can now also easily skip the green – grey quests that won’t give you much experience and with our ‘Chain Quest Linking’ feature you will never be out of sync with the guide.

We have been testing this feature extensively and we’re confident that these features are better than any other features that other competitor guides have to offer as you will have complete control.

From the screenshot above you may notice  2 new *censored* tabs ,  both these tabs are reserved for our brand new guide that is going to be released on May 19th.

All you have to do is leave a comment in this post  and also ‘Guess’  the correct guide that we’re going to release

I will give you a hint…  it is an In-Game guide! 🙂 …

sorry I’ll do better than that, here it is.

      In-game Dungeon Guide
      reasons for this:
      – if it is implemented then players who do dungeons while using the guide don’t get ahead of themselves
      – it will allow for players to do dungeon runs and the guide will take this into account (Allows players who use the RAF, to do dungeon runs like in the guide in members area “level 2 60’s in 1 day play time”)
      – Its something different from other guides
      – It would be really awesome and a great addition to all the other guides

      Cheers for it all

      Dugi,

I’m guessing achievement guide, because two months ago you
mentioned how you were designing the guide for easy expansion
and used an achievement guide as the example. Look forward to
      the new guide.

I think Dungeon guide. The reason from my experience, leveling using Dungeon is very fast compared to finishing quests. Additionally, most dungeons contain a lot of quests that yield a lot of xp.

    • Leonard

I am thinking that it could be a profession guide. Two tabs. Could be one tab for main professions, the other tab for working on secondary professions.

    • andres

I believe it is the achievement guide. Sure the achievements themselves say how to get it, but like questing, you might skip an easy achievement when trying to get a larger achievement, and having to backtrack just sucks! It goes along with the idea of the leveling guide!

    • Meredith

I think its gonna be the achievement guide

      2. In-Game Dungeon Guide

with the dungeon finder, dungeon running has never been more popular while leveling. it helps to keep leveling entertaining and easier, since you get pretty good updgrades from dungeons.

plus, its not that hard for an experienced player to make one, which makes me believe thats your surprise!

(im actually hoping its a dungeon guide!)

an achievement guide would be cool as well but i dont quite believe in the gold or the profession guide…

    • Robert

Two tabs… Why not two professions? Given the number of outdated, hard to follow online profession guides out there, I suspect it will a deluxe in-game, up-to-date, butt kicking Winner. In game access to a good profession guide would rock.

    • Mike

If your greedy like me it will be the gold guide.

    • Joey D

I will go against the flow. I am going with a profession guide.

Dugi has already developed the profession guide and to incorporate this into the best leveling and daily guide around would make sense. As you level your toon, you can also level your professions. The guide knows what area you are in, so why not tell you where to go to farm the mats needed to level your profession, what and when to make an item. Bring on May 19 I say.

      In-Game Profession Guide
there no Guide for this yet and it set you from all the Guides out there

    • JAL

Achievement Guide – a newsletter comes out every event, this would tie it all together

    • Jeff

      Dungeon guide

    • Dustin

I am going with a Dungeon guide. No one else has a good in game dungeon guide, which seems crazy. It would be logical with all the improvements you have made as well.

However, I would really like an in game profession guide. But it does not feel as important as a dungeon guide.

    • Alberto

I vote for In-Game Achievement Guide, because there is some guides and addons to guide us with individual dungeons but nothing that helps with the hard parts of the achievements, so and in-game guide providing help and tips about this would be great and unique 🙂

    • Forrest

I would think it would be an in game gold giude because the game already tells you how to get achievements and I dont think a profesion guide would work well as an in game guide(if you can get one to, more power to ya). A gold guide wouldn’t fit in the guide slots as well as the other names unless they said different types of making gold. So i think it’s going to a gold guide because it would be a cool edition to your guides.
      [ hope I’m right 🙂 ]

Honestly any of the 4 would be nice, however, from a stands out from the rest kinda of point nothing would get the job done like an achievement guide. Anyone can put together a list of everything you need to level a profession, you clearly cover how to get gold in your other guides (not to mention the variable nature of gold economy from server to server.) The in game dungeon guide, though it could look nice, would be a “nice the first time I looked through it but I never look back” kinda of thing. You can see that from all of the Book version dungeon guides that Blizz released that are on the clearance racks in the local book stores and best buys. The achievement guides would give you that something to do to when you hit 80+, mastered your gold, leveled your alts, and you’ve killed the last raidboss. It’s new, it’s always getting added to, and it works really well with tomtom..follow the arrow, it will never steer you wrong!

In-game profession guide. I chose this because i think everyone wants to know the quickest way to get skill ups in whatever profeession they are doing in game…..

    • Chuck

I think it will be the In-Game Dungeon Guide. I think that would be a great addition to the already great guide…

    • BrittB

      In-Game Dungeon

Why? I am always going back to the WoW Dungeon companion guides to look up all the quests I can get for a particular dungeon. It would be a awesome addition to your package to have this In-Game. Depending on how much information you put into it, there is room for expansion from just quests to things such as boss guides (Reg, Heroic, Raids), dungeon maps with notable mark-ups which could be reviewed In-Game versus ALT-TAB’n back and forth from game to other resource on your desktop.
