My favorite zone is probably Bloodmyst Isle. I love the quests there. They are fun to do, and I enjoy the gear that is gotten there. I also like the types of beasts there. Ravagers, spiders, bears, etc. They are all something that is not usual together. The last thing I like about the zone is the scenary. It is just amazing and very awesome to stare at while questing. It has been the best zone I have ever leveled 10-20.

My favourite zone is Winterspring, because i love to quest in the snow for some reason, and with all my chars i always lvled in Kalimdor, so its my favourite simply because its the only snowey place on the continent:)

I have to say I liked the Barrens alot. Not only did you have a cool area to explore but you got three dungeon’s to explore. The Wailing Caverns (Northern Barren’s ) and two Razorfen Kraul and Razorfen Downs (one of my favorites I may add) in the Southern Barren’s.

my favorite is Strangelthorn Vale. I just liked the type of environment it had and the fun quests. the songs are catchy too =3

I think my favorite zone(s) Has to be the Goblin Starting zones. Both the 1-5 level and the island after. I have been playing WoW for almost 4 years now and I don’t typically play the Horde side, but I have found a new appreciation for the Horde side and the newest members of the Horde, the Goblins. I find clobbering the Giant turtle just too funny, and the cars, and rockets. I like all the 1-60 zones, and was impressed how well they converted the exsisting zones and integrated the new ones.

I still think my favorite dungeon has to be Stormwind Stocks… I absolutely LOVE taking my DK in there with a lowbie and just running them through taking out a leg at a time, and the only thing that slows us down is the looting 🙂 I’m always up for a Stocks run!

My favorite zone has to be the instance Scarlet Monastery. I love the progression through each instance, graveyard, library, armory and cathedral. I have so many memories of these instances and how crazy some of the pulls could get with so many mobs packed together. Still one of my greatest memories of warcraft came in the cathedral, 3 manning it as an enhance shaman, with a pally and druid. The feeling of finally downing the last boss was great. All of the videos of it on youtube and whole instance pulls you can do in it make it such a fun, great zone. I can’t think of any other place in warcraft that I’ve had so many fun experiences in.

I have to say I really liked the Uldaman instance (the first time I did it). The part in the map chamber when you put the staff into the ground, and a beam of light shines onto the tiny model city just before the boss fight. If I’m not mistaken, this is the first of the Indiana Jones style scenes that are in WoW. There are quite a few of them surprisingly.

I really enjoyed the revmped Dun Morogh, especially with the airfield above IF finally being opened!

My Favorite Zone has to be Silverpine Forest because of all the Changes to the Land Blizz made to it and Because of The amazing Story and Fun quests

    • molefonken

That really depends, of all time it would have to be the instance “The Deadmines” simply because of the nostalgia attached to it, wow was my first MMO ever, so when I was nearing level 20 my friends pulled me into The Deadmines, on top of it all I was supposed to heal it, making it my first dungeon AND first heal assignment.

we went on to clear it without many problems (other than me trying to heal my enemies to death due to bad targeting and noobishness). But the whole run was amazing, it was such a thrill.. there is nothing quite like that first time. When we entered the last room I was amazed at the size of the boat, and to be honest, kind of scared. Remember it, and treasure it 🙂

Now that blizzard has revamped though, I made a Human hunter to get some of the new quests with me, I have to say I really enjoyed the Westfall and Redridge questlines; Westfall because the zoning was pretty impressive, love feeling that I actually am a part of the story. Redridge because of the questline where you save 4 veterans or something, you go on to have them on your team, killing everything in your way (even used them to finish off my other quests). It was an amazing quest chain, that almost ended with tears (not reallly, but it was kinda sad). Next alt I level will definitely go through those zones 🙂

I’ve always enjoyed Darkshore betwen L10 and L20 and Cataclysm makes it interesting again. The mix of cultists and undead means that the quests are varied and the new Vortex quest was fun to finish.

My favorite zone has got to be the western plaguelands. I remember having so much fun trying to get groups together for all the quests there, and with each character i leveled, i found more and more ways to get past group quests alone, mainly because the first char i leveled through there i was able to get groups any time of day, but less and less people showed with the more characters i leveled, haha.
Now, since the changes, i can’t stand the zone, can’t wait to get out of it, lol. But all my chars are past level 60 now, so i have no need to be there. haha

I just got your leveling guide. I have been using Zygor up to now but this looks pretty cool. I am looking forward to the dungeon guide also!

Winterspring is definately the zone I’ve enjoyed most during my gameplay. The whole setting, lighting – Everything! The quests are wonderful, and I got to say I loved the random box that could loot epics. This is short, but definately what I got to say about it 🙂

I would say Tanaris, since it has a nice goblin town, which shows the mounts from each vanilla races, have some great quests, and the best dungeon i ever tried, i love Zul’farak, especially the stair fight, haveing some npc, with diffrents skills helping you, against the horde of monsters. And the sword which can be created by combining two one-handed swords into a 2 handed epic sword, it took me so many runs to get this done, and i was so happy, the sword sucked, but i was soo happy!

I think the deadmines is the best leveling place, because it is kinda short, and i think it is much xp there, plus it drops good stuff

I always liked Stranglethorn Vale. I spent a lot of time there with my hunter and I acquired my best pet there (King Bangalash). I also like the explorer and the Gurubashi Arena as well as beating up on the pirates.

      My Favourite Dungoen is Deathmines!
Deathmines is my favourite, cuz i just started playing World Of Warcraft i had no idea what was going on and my friend that were in level 80 just boosted me in deathmines all day long !

I’m so happy that Blizzard choose to make deathmines a level 85 instance, it really put the memories back :’)

Jacko – A happy user of Dugi guides 🙂

Dun Morogh!! why, cos it was my very first glimpse of Wow. sounds cheesy? it ‘s also snowy and pretty!! how s that for cheesy??? well just try and remember your very first character, your very first area… and then make sure you take a good look when you fly out of Ironforge, over Dun Morogh.. It could be real it s so cool.
And you can’t help but like the dwarves or the gnomes so there you go!!!

My favorite zone is the old and new Westfall. I really can’t say why. I should hate it since I spent so much time dying there, but it was fascinating. It was where I first grouped with other players, and where I first learned what an instance was.

Too bad my mage didn’t live long enough to see it.
