My favorite zone would have to be teldrassil because that is the one zone were I met one extremely good friend of mine. Her and I were in the same guild but didn’t really know eachother that well. She was on a low lvl toon and as was I. I noticed someone needed help with the quest to find the 4 atifacts in the Ban’ethil Barrow Den so I started to help this person and we started talking about our mains little did we know we were in the same guild and that we kinda knew eachother at that time. After finding this out we have been best friends ever since not sure why but somthing just clicked in that cave. 5 years later and we still go go that cave just to run around and have fun. That is why Teldrassil is my favorite zone in wow 🙂

I have always been a fan of Darkshore and Ashenvale. I also like how they changed the zones and of course revamped all of it as well. I like how scenery as well as the quest lines have been changed, making some of the zone a little bit more cosmetically interesting to run through. All in all the areas have been made more fun to go along with the semi-destruction of Azeroth.

My favorite zone is Mulgore. I love the rolling plains, and the Native American theme to the quests. Of all the zones, Mulgore is the one that inspires a deep feeling of limitless possibilities in me.

Silithus is one of my favourite zones. Great quests , open sands and the Rep gained with Cenarion Circle , reminding me that the journey to Outlands is ever so closer. Where I can continue the Rep gained with Cenarion Expedition. Eventually resulting in exalted status with both, earning the status of Guardian of Cenarius.

PS. With your Guides, its Icing on the Cake:)

My favorite location is Un’Goro Crater. I can finishi skinning and mining up to level 300 there.

My favorite 1-60 area has got to be Darkshore.

While it’s a low level area the way they revamped it is just awesome. The addition of Malfurion Stormrage, the further findings of a statue of the Old God. They just did a great job of making the area fun after they went and destroyed everything.

My favourite zone is Eastern Plaguelands. having played the game since release i spend many , many hours with my online friends in my first guild, trying to 5 man Scholomance in teh days when it was a 10 man instance. We would pull every trick we could from our toons to kill Bosses that we should not have been able to kill. We were only a small guild and never raided back then. We only had 6 max level, 60 at the time, characters in the guild. I also love the new quest lines in the zone and enjoyed revisiting the area to complete them all.

My fav zone is The Barrens after cata came out. blizzard did a great job on changing everything in this zone with cata.
I played many hours in The Barrens back in the day, and with my new alt toon, it was like a completely new zone, and I enjoyed every minute questing. and now there is a HUGE lava flow going right down the middle of it, and you have to admit, that is super cool!!

The best level 1-60 zone… Dun Morogh. When I think of this zone, I remember first signing on to my newly created Gnome Mage, not knowing what would become of him. I would roam around and slay random things that came in sight of me, and maybe do a quest here and there. Only after I got my grip on this game and moved out of Dun Morogh, only several years later did I realize how nostalgic that place was. Six years of WoW and I haven’t forgotten my “birthplace.”
The terrain really was astounding, the color, or even texture of the snow around me was thrilling I would later discover in myself. The soundtrack, which was one of the best I have heard in a long time, only complimented my environment. On a different note, the questing was also beginner friendly, exciting enough to grasp me, but not too difficult at this early stage of the game. My favorite part of this zone would be the great time spent exploring. I would always find something new and it would build on my knowledge of WoW.
WoW brings something to the table for everyone, and the old Dun Morogh will be missed.

I’ve always liked Un’Goro Crater — the dinosaurs, related references to other popular media (Legend of Zelda, Land of the Lost), and the overall environment make this zone fun to explore and level in.

I have to say i really love many of the 1-60 Zones and Dungeons, But i have to say Blackrock Depths is the best place ever. That because of many things, but first of all because ive played Wow since Vanilla and i remember the day i got my first lvl 55+ and started to Raid this place. Yes, in these days Blackrock Depths was a 15man raiding zone. And most of us wasnt at same skill level as most of the players today. We planned and sat down in Ironforge around a fire and talked for hours and planned how we should get trough whole place and this made my feeling for raiding and have a big impact on how i still play today. When thats said. Blackrock Depths is a big Dungeon and the place just load up to what is coming in Lower and Upper Blackrock spire and even Molten Core / Blackwing Lair (40man raid zones) I remember how i felt when we first time cleared Blackrock Depths and how i just waited for the rest. That feeling was amazing. Also i think Blackrock Depths is one of the larges dungeon in game and its funny when i levling my alts these days and you come over new players to the game even players who have played since Vanilla but still cant handle this dungeon and get confused and dont remember how this place work. I love it. Its beautifull and the work the devolopers did with this place is brilliant! Credit to them. The mystic feeling when you enter the place and the quests and lore who have a part within this place is also superb. For those who have done the quain quest up to get the Drakefire Amulet. (Lvl 60 Onyxia) Also, Attunment to the Core (Molten Core) I just have to say i love this place. It has alot of floors and space and i love enter this place and redo it over and over again today. And it brings alot of nostalgy for me 🙂 This place is one of the biggest reasons for that i still playing World of Warcraft! And this place should be even easier to understand with Dugis Levling guide with those new in game maps. Keep up the good work, this will make people do this place and understand how big and beautifull it is!

Wow, this is really hard. There are so many great zones and I different ones for different reasons when I play different characters. I would have to say that my favorite is the Stranglethorn area. I love the variety of quests in the North side there. There seems to be something for every one of my alts. Loads of hunting and skinning, all kinds of different things to fight and kill, and some great story lines. The southern half is also quite interesting with the new camp and changes since Cata.

Beyond 60 I have to say I love Twilight Highlands. Again the variety is amazing and I love the story line that is woven into the area. Not to mention drunken daily questing is just plain fun and Halthar proves to be a challenge to solo every day. It was and remains a challenging and interesting place to play and some of the cut scenes were just plain cool..

    • Gang

I would have to say vanilla Deadmines. 1st dungeon that i ever ran. 1st dungeon that I ever solo’d with my alt.

      Gang

My favorite place is Dragonblite and Undercitty , Dragonblite because there is a long chain quest serie’s that get you to big story piece of the game whit the greath wall ( Angrathar the wrathgate ) whit the dragon queen .

Undercitty becouse the big battle for Undercitty , man those where real eppic moment’s for a lot of player”s of wow , sure for me , the power of a full force backup of Lady Sylvanas 😉

For the Horde or, if you love Aliance , for the Aliance 😉

The hole game is my favorite place , to keep my comment a litle sort , and have fun 😉

My fav place to level un guro, i remember riding down on my newly acquired SLOW mount from tanaris down the huge slope and thinking WOW what am i going to find in here.

Then bumping into the devilsaurs and dieing (many many times) and how long did i spend trying to find ringo?

and i loved the way once you got there 1st of all picking all the quest up, it didn’t matter what you killed it was for a Q, one big circle around the place and you had a log book full of Q’s to hand in!

Eastern Plaguelands since the release of Cata. Between the DK starting quests that ended with the Battle of Lights Hope and Just knowing that once I hit here, I was just about off to Outland, it seemed to always be a zone I shot for. However, with Cata, I actually really enjoy runnnig it now from start to finish. From a questing perspective, I really enjoy how they laid it out, it’s a good contained story within the Zone and when your done, you fly away on a ROCKET!

    • Ben

I would have to say Stranglethorn Vale. It was the 1st contested zone I had played in. The 1st one with a nutral auction house and I just found it to be different than the other zones I had previously quested in before then with both the size, quests and environment.

P.s. Good work on the guides.

    • Tony

I would have to say any staring areas because that’s what lays the WoW bug in you to keep you exploring and wanting to level and see what new cast your going to learn or what new area your going to find by accident.

    • Thomas

My favorite is Badlands, I have very good memories to Badlands, Way earlier (When 60% mounts costed 100g) I spend hours and hours at lvl 40 there to get enough gold. There were always other people there also farming gold. And when I finally got my mount, the first thing I did was riding through Badlands.
