My Fave is Ashara it used to be a place you were sent to now it belongs to the Goblins with the rocket-way & quests galore, some are really funny, although its geared to goblin anyone can quest here and its the logical follow on from lost islands

My favourite zone is Ironforge for the great design, interesting hidden spots and places and also the coolest air entry in the game (that is the way you fly into the city).
      Cheers

My favorite zone is Mulgore because it is such a beautiful landscape.

My favourite area would have to be Azshara. Before the cataclysm it didn’t attract me much, but now with the coming of our tinkering/ destructive goblins Azhara has become an area with exciting new quests. And of course the huge rail-cannon shouldn’t be forgotten 🙂

My favourite 1-60 zone has to be Stranglethorn Vale. I like the amount of hunting quests you can complete realy quickly and the storylines are also very funny. You feel like you are in the middel of the jungle when you are questing due to the wild plants and creatures surrounding you.

For me Elwynn Forest was the best area, its the first area i started when i 1st started playing wow. The quests just got me hooked and from there i was just wanted to level faster and faster 🙂

Also 1st time i went in stormwind i was like ‘oh my god’ it was huge. i didnt know where anything was and i always felt lost but its a beautiful city full of fun and excitement

I’m using your guide to level up a druid from scratch and loving it. I’m currently up to level 71 :). I think my favorite areas have to be the ones in Stanglethorn, possibly the Cape of Stanglethorn as the best. I love this area and all the hunting quests. Plus great for levelling my herbalism at the same time. This is a nicely designed and fun area 🙂

My Favorite zone has to be Stranglethorn Vale. The area has so much quests and storylines that it’s always fun to do. Plus the place makes you feel like your literally in the wilderness. Like your Tarzan or something. But most of all, you can literally go up 15 levels in the zone.. Now in Cataclysm it is two zones now but it is still alot of fun to do. The starting of Nesingwary is the best way to go. That’s why Stranglethorn Vale is my favorite zone.

My Favorite zone is Silithis because i spent a looot of time here in vanilla. i loved the quests, and i farmed so many twilight texts. I remember farming to get the dukes to spawn, then getting a group just to kill them, and it was just fun for us. Not to mention the opening of AQ was a awesome event as well.

I prefer Silverpine Forest. Starting back when I first joined World of Warcraft I created an undead, the following quests led through the introduction of the forsaken and the current plight that sat right outside the doors (scarlet culprits). But in venturing forth to see what progress the Forsaken had made in these lands we find Silverpine Forrest a spacious expanse of land with all manner of beasts and baddies waiting to fall upon the hapless traveler or fall under the blade of a wary adventurer. The small murloc outposts, broods of Arugal tainted beasts (that portrayed the werewolf traits in becoming humanoids with the rising sun in game), to the dalaran wayfarers leading to hillsbrad foothills. I can still recall the times I was picking off the random gnoll or scourge when a ‘Son of Arugal’ would sneak up and show me whos boss.

Now we have a transition, Argual has been dethroned, the Gilneas walls have been breached and the worgen are released for Azeroth to see. Sylvanas has found a small camp to show her newly aquired skills in fortifying the Forsaken, even if Garrosh is not pleased. The Dalaran wizards have learned how to shapeshift into woodland creatures, and a wonderful Forrest troll caravan has made travel ever so delightful for those who want to get in some sight seeing between encampments.

All in all its a great story and level transition zone. Just enough spooky ambiance to feel a part of the Forsaken, but open enough to fit in the Worgen as well.

      My favorite level 1-60 zone:
No care for the environment. That’s how the Goblins think. They have no sympathy for that lonely tree that’s been standing for centuries and they certainly do not care about water. In fact, if they could invent a way to transform water into oil I bet they would. The wild, wacky, and often times humorous adventures of Goblins make my favorite Azerothian zone Azshara. From chopping down trees to building an entire transportation system across the zone, Azshara doesn’t leave anything out. The goblins are bent on destroying the entire place and have a drill baby drill philosophy. I think Azshara is such an amazing zone because questing is so fluent. Everything relates to everything and the environment Blizzard placed the Goblins in makes the zone golden. I particularly enjoy this zone because I remember it being such a waste of space before the Cataclysm. But that waste of space clearly had potential, even in Classic World of Warcraft you could tell. I am glad Blizzard realized this as well. Overall it is a superb-quality zone that was once worthless property.

      My favorite level 1-60 dungeon:
My favorite dungeon in Azeroth has and will always be the Scarlet Monastery. I remember years ago, farming silk cloth in the Armory. Something that was so tedious was actually very fun. Most of my dungeon experiences also related to the guild that I was in; for we would do everything together. A group of us spent every waking hour in Scarlet Monastery farming away, getting the best gear at the time and at the level, materials for professions, and of course gold (because you did have to farm for gold back then). I especially like this dungeon because the Scarlet Crusade is distinctly related to the Nazism of Germany back in the 1930s-1940s. The members of the Scarlet Crusade are bent on destroying all that is deemed unholy in the eyes of their leader, and ultimately in the eyes of the past. Much like Nazi Germany was hellbent on terminating the German-Jewish citizens. Another relation is that the endboss of the Scarlet Monastery, Renault Mograine, is much like Adolf Hitler. And lets not forget his trusted companion, Sally Whitemane, as she compares to Eva Braun. I enjoy the functionality of this dungeon as it has 4 parts. The graveyard gives an eery feeling of the haunting dead, and in a relation to the Holocaust, the Concentration Camps. Upon entering the torture chamber, you can almost hear the cries of the innocent and guilty. In fact, the Graveyard itself appears itself as a giant concentration camp in which it is surrounded by a brick wall, with no surrounding environment. The Library regards itself as a save haven in which the maniacal Scarlet Crusade studies more about the evil of the undead, and more ways to terminate them. The Armory serves as the military force of the Scarlet Crusade in which the greatest leaders have made their mark. And, of course, the Cathedral as the diplomatic sanctuary in which the leaders of the Scarlet Crusade cower. Overall, it is a well constructed dungeon with the implication of a time in history that will forever be embedded into man’s brains.

Hi my favourite zone has to be Ashenvale , I remember the first time i went there thinking how soothing the atmospheric music was and I loved the first time I saw one of the Ents die when they look round as they slide apart.
      Keep up the good work

I really enjoy the new Worgen starter zone. There is a strong story line with progression. It made the experience much more fun for me.

    • Borrar

I still remember the moment I stepped into Dun Morogh from Coldridge Pass. I return to Kharanos now and again to keep the memories alive. Good times…

    • Michael Jackson

My favorite zone is Northern Stranglethorn. My first character was a skinner, and I loved the Nesingwary quests. Glad that Blizzard kept them in the game, and really improved the questing on all of Stranglethorn Vale.
